Growing with the Seasons

So we've seen sunshine, clouds, rainfall and wind storms, birds flying overhead and a few drinking from our bird bath. We've played with, spilled, dug up, brought into the house and even eaten DIRT, and she's only 18-months old.

Our baby girl knows:

  • How to water her plants
  • When to ask for her shovel
  • she loves fresh grown tomatoes
  • not to touch the Habaneros...Hot!!
We will soon be growing Snap Peas. We as parents cannot wait for the day our little girl picks her first pod off the vine. :)

Time goes by so fast. And as the neighbor comments how big our baby is getting, my wife and I cannot imagine the day she is off with her friends. Looking back at our tomato plant not three months ago, it was but a stubby, leaf filled stick, now it towers over me. It all happened so fast!!

If there is one thing I can suggest to every parent out there:

SPEND EVERY MINUTE POSSIBLE WITH YOUR KIDS - WHILE YOU CAN.

I realize we all have to work to make a living and put food on our plates. But think back to how many hours we spend chatting it up with friends on the phone, searching for that really cool YouTube video your co-worker suggested or mixing up our favorite music CD for that weekend wine tasting trip. Now imagine what that time would be like if you instead,  spent it with your baby. J

Enjoy Life Together.
